My name is Ryan and I’m the owner and lead developer of Taurus Design Studios.
After my local service business didn’t survive the impact of Covid, I started working remotely from home. When our second child was born, I began thinking about ways to earn a little extra to go toward the kids’ college fund. As I brainstormed, I kept coming back to my experience running a small business. I remembered the pressure of trying to do everything myself, and how frustrating it was to hand over thousands of dollars for a website I really couldn’t afford at the time.
That memory sparked an idea: what if I could offer other small business owners fully managed, professional websites, at a price that actually made sense for their budget? I threw myself into learning web design and quickly realized how much I enjoyed it. After about a year, what started as a small side hustle turned into something bigger. Now, I get to do what I love, support my family, and help small businesses grow without making them break the bank.
